About You
We're looking for a food lover who thrives in an independent business setting and has a passion for bread and creating delicious food. Whether you have professional experience, are self-taught, or have studied baking, a solid understanding of sourdough and bread-making techniques is required. Knowledge of baking ingredients and food safety practices is essential, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes precisely.
Problem-solving skills relating to dough rheology, time management, and organisation will be key to succeeding in this role. Most importantly, we value a positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset to help create a collaborative work environment.
What’s in It for You?
We offer a supportive and fun workplace where kindness is at the heart of everything we do. As part of our team, you’ll enjoy fully funded socials throughout the year and the opportunity to grow with an artisan bakery that’s cherished by the Mapperley community.
We believe in fair pay, with annual raises aligned with the real living wage (as a minimum) and a profit-based bonus scheme launching in 2026. Plus, you’ll get free food during shifts, generous staff discounts, complimentary drinks, and even Coosh merchandise to enjoy.
